Welcome Bill Abbott of “Spectickles”
It is with great honor and a privlage to introduce Bill Abbott to our Aaspedia family.
I have been a big fan of Bill’s cartoon series “Spectickles” for a while now. Bill has the abilities to illustrate and share insight of an older married couple and the everyday occurrances that couples face and are challanged with. His abilities to find everyday humor and share those funny points with us is extrodenary. Bill’s capable of taking a simple everyday situation millions of us must have on a daily bases and puts a whole new twist on it that’s revealed from his lighter side of viewing things.
Bill has been doing illustrations for a long while now and he’s internationally known for his syndicated cartoon series the “Spectickles”, along with his business style cartoon “Percenters”. Bill’s popularity can be seen in The Wall Street Journal, Harvard Business Review, and UK’s magazine Prospect. Not one to sit back and relax, Bill also keeps busy designing greeting cards for the likes of Hallmark, Renaissance, Marian Heath, Pictura USA, For Art’s Sake, and Nobleworks. Instead of reading books, Bill would rather illustrate them and has one out in publications with Willow Creek Press. The books title is called none other than “Spectickles” The Cartoon Volume 1. Bill is a retired Navy “Swick” who served our country proud in the Iraq War. Lets all give Bill a warm welcome as he sticks his fingers in our funny bone and makes us piss in our pants with laughter.
